Frequently Asked Questions

When to arrive?

While the cruise does not depart until Sunday at 4pm, we do recommend arriving Saturday. Final boarding for the ship is 2 PM, make sure you arrive during your boarding time on your boarding pass in order to ensure you make it on the ship in time. Sometimes flights get cancelled or delayed, and we would hate for you to miss the ship!

Do you have a registry?

Your presence is our present! Please, do not feel the need to give us anything as a wedding present. We are already asking so much of everyone who is attending and appreciate it so much!

If you still prefer to give a gift, we have a small registry at:

What is the dress code?

Carnival’s dress code for evening is typically cruise casual, but on two nights during the voyage cruise elegant evening wear is suggested. Please see What to Pack page for additional information.

Is alcohol included?

Alcohol is not included. You can either pay for each drink individually, or enroll in the Cheers! Beverage Program which starts at $59.95 a day per person. There is a 10% discount for enrolling prior to embarkation. If you are going to enroll, every individual 21+ in your cabin must participate. Please see Carnival website for additional details.

Can we stray from the group?

Absolutely! This is your vacation! We will celebrate together on Tuesday, but the rest of the voyage is yours to do as you please! You can spend as much or as little time with the newlyweds as you’d like. We will put a white-board on our door with our daily plans so you can find us if you want to hang!

Will we be participating in excursions?

No excursions for Cozumel due to wedding activities. We will plan on doing excursions in both Belize and Costa Maya. Please visit the Excursions/Ship Activities tab to see what we have scheduled for ourselves at Belize and Costa Maya ports.

How can we communicate with each other?

You can either coordinate with your families and pay for the wifi package or pay less and simply use the Carnival HUB app’s chat service. We will not purchase the wifi package personally . We will be paying $5 each to access the Carnival HUB chat service on their app. We found this is the cheapest way to easily communicate with our friends and family on board. At ports, we will be able to use our cellular service with our phone carrier since we have international calling in Mexico. If you only wish to communicate with on board guests, we recommend just paying the $5 for the whole week to use the HUB chat service. If you need to communicate with people back home, you’ll either need to pay for the wifi plan or set up international calling if you only want to reach out when we are docked at the cruise ports. If you wish to have no communication, you can download the Carnival HUB app for free just so you can stay up to date with the Carnival itinerary for each day, you just won’t be able to use their chat service.
